There are two main types of materials used in the making of kennels. The first I am going to talk about is plastic dog kennels. These kennels are easy to clean, warm and usually tend to get chewed less. We have a range of these, most available with either a wire door or plastic flap. Wooden kennels are also available. These tend to look prettier and many people choose to buy these because of personal preference.
We also offer a range of insulated kennels. These are the Buddy kennels which come suitable for any dog between the size of a Jack Russell and a German Shepard. These are wooden kennels which come with the option of added insulation. These kennels will ensure that your dog remains cosy all year round. This insulation can be removed during the summer in order to make the kennel cooler if needed. This makes the Buddy perfect if you are worried about your dog getting cold in your garden. Most of our wooden kennels have felted roofs which also will help to keep heat in.
All of our kennels have some sort of ventilation system. Ventilation is one of the most important things that a kennel can have as a kennel lacking it would almost certainly result in a dog with a few of respiratory and other issues. It will also help to cool the dog and prevent overheating in summer and on warmer days.
