When our family was searching for a kennel for our first dog, we struggled to find a suitable one for sale in Ireland. While we found some that would look pretty in our garden these were way out of our price range. Any of the kennels we could afford would have been an eyesore in our garden or of very bad quality.
This gave us the idea to help people, like us, who were looking for unique and attractive kennels, that customers would enjoy having in their gardens and that their dogs would love. We sat down and decided to design our own kennel range that would incorporate both colour, style and versatility.
Our Dog Kennels
In November 2015 we launched our Henry and Buddy range of kennels to the market. The Henry kennel comes in a latte colour which blends nicely into most gardens. The door allows the option of being able to keep your dog inside the kennel for short periods if need be.
The Buddy kennel is suitable for dogs who are free to roam around your garden. The plastic flaps help to keep wind and rain out and allow your dog the freedom to come in and out of their kennel as they please. The roof of this kennel can be lifted up for easy cleaning. All kennels in our Buddy range come with the option of adding insulation. The insulation is waterproof and the thick padding helps to keep your dog cosy on colder days, but can be easily removed to keep them cooler on hot, summer days.
Next we added the Rocky dog kennels. Rocky kennels come in five sizes and aim to provide a comfortable home for dogs between the size of a chihuahua and a german shepherd. These kennels have flaps to help protect your dog from the Irish weather.
We have since designed our plastic kennels which are suitable for more practical dog owners. Plastic dog kennels are easily hosed out making cleaning very simple. Most of these come with the option of adding either a wire door or door flaps, making them a great choice for almost any dog.
Selling Dog Kennels With Irish People In Mind
Irish weather is notoriously unpredictable. This is why we have made our kennels from fir wood and treated them with an animal friendly wood stain. Our kennels are thus waterproof, helping to provide a warm and comfortable home for your dog. Door flaps can also be added to most of our kennels which further help to keep the rain off your dog.
Of course, the most important aspect of the kennels for us was the quality of the build. What we are most delighted about though is the colours now available to customers.
In keeping with the ever growing modern trend of painting garden furniture and sheds in ‘countryside’ colours we agreed that colours like sage, greys and latte would fit nicely into any garden. Naturally all the wood stain’s used in our kennels are animal friendly.
We even researched what would work best for the roofs of our kennels and that having a felt roof would give them a ‘house’ like appearance. We have many different sizes available, with and without doors, to suit most breeds of dogs from the smallest to largest.
