Zantel Cat and Dog Worming Tablets can be used to treat roundworm, tapeworm, hookworm and whipworm infections.
Roundworms are some of the most common intestinal worms in dogs and cats. Many puppies and kittens are born with roundworms which they obtain from their mother’s milk. Therefore, it’s vital that new born puppies and kittens receive appropriate veterinary care.
Tapeworms are an intestinal parasite that dogs acquire by eating infected fleas or by consuming wild animals infested with tapeworms or fleas. Sometimes affected dogs may scoot their bottoms along the ground. Treatment also involves ridding any fleas from your dog and your home environment.
Hookworms are intestinal parasites that cause anaemia in dogs and can be fatal in puppies if left untreated. They can also be passed from the mother's milk.
Whipworms are a type of worm in dogs that lives in the intestines and colon, where they pass their eggs into the dog’s faeces. Dogs get whipworms from ingesting an infested substance, which can include soil, food, water, faeces, or animal flesh.
In addition, these tablets help prevent any possible infestation, so your pet will stay healthy and happy.
