The pack includes 4 easy-to-use brushes and combs and an easy-to-follow grooming guide that will make grooming simpler than ever and pawfect for anyone to use at home! The brushes have been specially selected by the experts at Pets.ie and tried and tested by our own furry friends at home. The short-medium hair Pets.ie Complete Home Grooming Pack is suitable for Pugs, Beagles, and Border Collies.
Included in this pack are the Detangler, the Detangling Rake, the Double-Sided Comb, and the Double Brush. A step-by-step guide on how to use each brush and comb is also included in the Pets.ie Essentials Complete Home Grooming Pack.
Step 1: The Detangler: Use this comb first to ease out any tangles or knots your pet may have. This comb is perfect for dematting and is designed to loosen tougher knots and stubborn matts.
Step 2: The Detangling Rake: Use this rake next to gently remove the undercoat without damaging your pet’s top coat. This rake is perfect for gently removing the tangles and loose fur from the coat.
Step 3: The Double-Sided Comb: The third step in this routine removes any loose hair and is perfect for slowly and gently removing tangles.
Step 4: The Double Brush: As the last step in your dog’s grooming routine, the steel bristles promote good blood circulation of the skin and the nylon bristles ensure a smooth and shiny coat.
Grooming tips: Grooming is a great way to bond with your dog. Puppies and dogs who are new to grooming should be introduced to grooming slowly. We recommend grooming your dog when they are relaxed, if possible, after exercise. Use tools gently. Avoid tugging on the skin, or on knots or mats. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog is becoming agitated or stressed. Increase the length of the grooming session as your dog becomes used to grooming. If you have any concerns over your dog’s coat or skin, please consult your vet.
