Blue Cross Pick Up A Pen Campaign

The Irish Blue Cross is repeating it popular pens fundraising campaign this October to raise funds for needy pets. Pet lovers have an opportunity to pick up a beautiful gallery style pen with cute images of dogs and cats in return for a donation of 2 Euro at their local shop or veterinary practice. A full list of location details is available on the charity’s website www.bluecross.ie

In 2008, The Irish Blue Cross provided 15,303 treatments, check-ups, vaccinations to needy pets at its mobile clinics; including subsidised surgeries provided through private veterinary practices.

Earlier this year, the Charity opened the doors of its own new small-animal clinic at its headquarters in Inchicore where hundreds more small animals have received care and have had operations and procedures carried out. The clinic has taken off very swiftly in response to the growing numbers of genuinely needy pet owners seeking assistance.

To support the charity in its work please make a donation during World Animal Week by buying a pen or by going online at www.bluecross.ie

Testimonial from a Puggle owner

“Thank you Pets.ie

When my beautiful Puggle got pregnant I was worried about the pups. I thought because they were cross breed that no one would want them. But a week after placing an ad on Pets.ie I have found lovely homes in Dublin and Drogheda for the gorgeous pups ( all 7 of them ).

So thank you again. I will recommend your site.”
