Pet Expo 2009 Pics

There was a big queue of people (and their pets) outside the RDS last Sunday, all waiting to get into this years Pet Expo and it wasn’t any less busier inside the hall.

It was great to see such a good representation of animal welfare groups including Dogs Aid, The Donkey Sanctuary, The Irish Blue Cross, Dogs in Distress, The Irish Seal Sanctuary and Silvers Ferret & Exotic Bird Sanctuary. The Expo is a super opportunity to promote responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.

Our favourite stands and events included the Bald Eagle in the Eagles Flying stand, the Doggie Dancing, the birds of prey in the Wildlife Corner and the Dog Breed Village.

Unfortunately for me as a cat lover, there was very little cat representation :( Maybe next year.

Here are some photos of a few animals and people we got to meet.
