No wonder cartoon owls are always shown wearing glasses!
This bizarre imprint was left on a window by an errant owl in the UK town of Kendal, Cumbria. The homeowner says she could find no trace of the actual bird, so assumes it flew off unharmed. Experts believe that the perfect impression was probably left by a tawny owl and that it was caused by the ‘powder down’ that coats the feathers of owls.
